Hi Monore,
I have been following you for quite some time. Typically I watch you from my TV usually while I am working out so I don’t have the opportunity to comment. From the treadmill however I do thumbs up all of your videos :). I want to support you and what you are putting out there and quite frankly I love your back story. For context I am mixed race myself but being an Art Director I have always “played” in a white world. Whether it was the 6.5 years in art school or the many ad agencies I worked at or the marketing departments. I have had “quotas” of people of colour to use in ads…the stories I could tell. Much of what you talked about in regards to why there are so few black faces at the high end brand fashion shows I just nodded my head at, I felt like I knew much of this, without actually knowing it. The part however that made me really pause was the comment someone had about you calling out black brands or designers and wondering why you did it. That for me is a big part of what I love about you. I have learnt so much about woman owned, black owned brands, and about other influencers from you . Thank you for that and don’t ever stop.
